Siem Supreme in France
FJ loyalist Marcel Siem put together a final round five under par 67 to outlast the field by one to claim the Open de France. Siem, in FJ Icon MyJoys and StaSof, started his day with a drive into a hazard but the German showed some grit, fighting back to save his par despite the errant opening shot. Marcel added five birdies and a single bogey to close out the field and win the Championship.
This is Siem's first victory since the 2004 Dunhill Championship, stating post round, "It means so much to me to win after that long stretch. It's all about winning in the end and it puts so much pressure every time you don't win and people start talking, you will never win again and stuff like that, so it's very important for me
