FootJoy Warranties Information
FootJoy stands behind the quality of materials and workmanship of all of its FootJoy branded products. We will fully support our warranties and administer them fairly and equitably.
Shoe Specific Provisions
1. FULL 90-DAY QUALITY WARRANTY
All FootJoy golf shoes are warranted to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for 90 days from the date of original purchase. Shoes found to be defective will be repaired or replaced with the same style or an equivalent FootJoy shoe at FootJoy's sole discretion. Whilst repairs and replacements shall be processed within a reasonable period, time is not of the essence.
2. LIMITED WATERPROOF WARRANTY
FootJoy warrants that FootJoy golf shoes purchased in the United Kingdom that state 1-year waterproof protection in the on the product page will be waterproof in normal use for one year from the date of original purchase, provided that the shoes have suffered no cuts, abrasions, or other damage and have not been subjected to alteration, misuse, abuse or other mistreatment.
Should leakage develop within the applicable Limited Warranty period, FootJoy will issue credit for such shoes as follows:
(I) if shoes are returned during the first year of any warranty period, FootJoy will replace the shoes with the same style or equivalent FootJoy shoe.
Rainwear Specific Provisions
FootJoy warrants that its DryJoys Select rainwear, DryJoys Tour LTS, DryJoys Tour XP rainwear, HydroLite rainwear, and DryJoys rainwear (collectively, the “Rainwear”) will be waterproof in normal use for three years (UK Warranty) from the date of original purchase (the “Limited Warranty Period”); provided that the Rainwear have suffered no cuts, abrasions, or other damage and have not been subjected to abuse or other mistreatment. This warranty also does not apply to areas of such Rainwear that have been embroidered.
Should leakage develop within the Limited Warranty period, FootJoy will replace the applicable Rainwear with a replacement product of equal value.
This Limited Warranty extends only to the waterproof characteristics of the Rainwear. This warranty does not apply to Rainwear used outside the United Kingdom. The applicable warranty for such Rainwear is the warranty given for Rainwear sold in the country of use.
WHAT FOOTJOY WARRANTIES DO NOT COVER
Even though the applicable warranty period may not have expired, certain conditions may invalidate FootJoy warranty coverage. By way of example, but not all inclusive, FootJoy will not issue credit for returned product that have experienced any of the following, as determined by FootJoy in its sole discretion:
- Excessive damage/scuffing to shoe upper caused by toe drag
- Cracking of shoe upper leather caused by lack of proper maintenance
- Damaged shoe spike receptacles caused by using non-FootJoy replacement spikes
- Rainwear that has been damaged, altered, or abused in any way
In addition, FootJoy warranties do not cover return shipping costs.
HOW TO SUBMIT A WARRANTY CLAIM
For all orders placed on www.footjoy.co.uk please follow these instructions. To make a claim under one of the above warranties, please promptly return the applicable shoes or Rainwear, together with the original packing list showing the date of purchase and a statement of the claimed defect, to FootJoy at the following address:

Please note any returns or warranties on purchases made via our authorised retailers should be directed to the place where you purchased the FootJoy products.
We strongly encourage the use of a parcel system that utilizes a package tracking service (I.E DPD). These methods will provide both shipper and receiver up to date information during transit of your return shipment. FootJoy will not be liable for products lost in transit if a package tracking service is not utilised.
WARRANTY CLAIMS PRESENTED WITHOUT THE ORIGINAL PACKING LIST WILL BE HONORED AT FOOTJOY'S SOLE DISCRETION.

LIMITATIONS OF WARRANTY
FOOTJOY WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL OR OTHER DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE USE OF ITS PRODUCTS OR ANY DELAY IN THE PERFORMANCE OF THIS WARRANTY DUE TO CAUSES BEYOND THE COMPANY'S CONTROL.
THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY MADE BY FOOTJOY WITH RESPECT TO ITS PRODUCTS, AND IS GIVEN IN LIEU OF ANY OTHER WARRANTY. FOOTJOY’S LIABILITY UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS LIMITED SOLELY TO THOSE LIABILITIES SET FORTH HEREIN. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY DOES NOT AFFECT YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS.
The foregoing limitations of warranty shall not exclude or limit FootJoy’s liability for death or personal injury caused by FootJoy’s negligence or any other type of liability which may not be lawfully excluded or limited.
In the event that any provision of this limited warranty, or portion thereof, should be or becomes invalid or unenforceable under applicable law, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permissible so as to effect the intent of the warranty, and the remainder of these warranty provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
BOA CLOSURE SYSTEM GUARANTEE INFORMATION
Boa Technologies Inc. is NOT a FootJoy company. Boa provides replacement parts for the Boa Closure System reel and lace for the life of the FootJoy product in which it is integrated:
Boa® Dialed in for Life™ Warranty
The Boa Dial, internal spool, lace, and non-sewn parts of the Boa Closure System are warranted to the original owner for the lifetime of the product on which the Boa Closure System has been installed. If the Boa® Closure System products covered by this warranty fail, Boa Technology or the brand partner (manufacturer) will provide replacement parts without charge.
Only original, unaltered, and unmodified materials and workmanship are covered by this policy. This warranty includes manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, as well as standard wear-and-tear from normal use. This warranty covers damage caused by accident, normal wear and tear, or the natural breakdown of colors and materials over extended time and use.
This warranty does not cover Boa® parts that are sewn or installed permanently into the brand partner product, and does not cover lost or stolen items, improper care or cleaning, non-standard use, or negligence.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights; you may have other rights, which vary from state to state or country to country. There are no warranties which extend beyond the description of warranties herein.

FootJoy will determine whether the shoes can be repaired with a Boa repair kit that we will send to you or if the shoes need to be returned to us for repair. Please note that all other components of our FootJoy shoes are covered by our standard warranties, as set forth above.
